Rarely has a legend inspired the imagination of generations as much as the myth of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table. His story has provided the background for innumerous books, films, adaptations, ballads and more, each one interpreting the theme in its own way.
With our project, which we summarized in a large poster for room AR-D 6104, we tried to capture various viewpoints on the legend itself as well as differences between reality and myth. We wanted to show the many different faces of King Arthur as well as point to the incredible number of sights,facts and fictions related to his legend. It seems that his story penetrates much more than only the topics closely connetcted to Camelot and the knights. Churches, castles, Stonehenge: they all seem to be floating under the mists of Avalon.
